Mangalore, Oct 27: The Giants Awards Ceremony 2010 was held at SDM Law college auditorium, recently.
It is organized by Giants International, Mumbai- based international Organization Mumbai) once in two years and this year the Giants group of Mangalore Central hosted the function.
Awards were given in various fields. Seemanth Kumar Singh, commissioner of police was the chief guest and he gave away the awards. Devanand Upadhyaya, general manager, Syndicate bank was the guest of honor.
Dr PA Ibrahim (education), Dr G Shankar (Social Work), Dr Pandurangi (Medicine), Anil (Spoarts), Devdas Kapikad (Entertainment), Mutalik Desai(Agriculture), Sheker Karkera(Business)and Astro Mohan (Photo Journalism) were recipients of the awards.
C V Pujar ,convenor, Awards committee welcomed the gathering and Deviprasad Shetty, president Giants group of Mangalore central proposed the Vote of Thanks. Ramya and Jayaraj Prakash compered the programme.
