Mangaluru: Lady accuses two residents of her apartment of murdering husband

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Nov 4: Amani Kamath (35), resident of Veera Venkatesh Apartment on Mahamayi temple road, in the city, has alleged that her husband Vinayak Kamath, was murdered by Krishnananda Kini and his son Avinash Kini, residing in the same complex.

Amani stated in her complaint made to the city (north) police station that she has been a resident of flat No 108 of the said complex for the last five years. Her husband, son and mother-in-law are the other residents of this flat. She does tailoring jobs and her husband was a tour manager of Vikram Travels here.

"A few days back, the city corporation people had repaired the damaged portion of the spot adjacent to the entrance gate of the apartment with concrete. On the issue of cars of other people passing through this repaired spot, Krishnananda Kini, residing in flat No. 101, fought with my husband. Krishnananda Kini apparently nursed enmity against my husband on this issue. When a few residents of the apartment were bursting crackers at about 11 pm on November 3, my husband went to the ground floor. Krishnananda Kini and his son Avinash, started to quarrel with my husband at the parking area. I and my mother-in-law rushed down after hearing their shouts and we saw Krishnananda Kini stabbing my husband with a knife in the chest. Avinash Kini too was repeatedly saying that he would not spare my husband. Krishnananda Kini was driven by the aim of killing my husband. Hearing the commotion, some other residents of the apartment came there, and one of the residents, Nirav Shah, along with my mother-in-law and others took my husband to Yenepoya Hospital. I and my son were at home. My mother-in-law told me that my husband died at 1.40 am on Thursday without responding to treatments," she explained in her complaint.

On the basis of her complaint, a case has been filed under section 302 of Indian Penal Code in the city north police station. Further investigation is on.

QuoteWhen a few residents of the apartment were bursting crackers at about 11 pm on November 3, my husband went to the ground floor.Unquote The genesis of the trouble was the bursting of firecrackers that disturbed the person. This is not an isolated incident. The person lost his life because there is no rule of law. No fire crackers or loudspeakers are permitted between 10pm-6am as per the law. Yet, the police turn a blind eye and a deaf ear. The police are incapable of implementing the law and ignorant of the applicable laws except when it suits their purpose. ///People annoyed by noise may experience a variety of negative responses, such as anger, disappointment, dissatisfaction, withdrawal, helplessness, depression, anxiety, distraction, agitation or exhaustion (3–5). Furthermore, stress-related psychosocial symptoms such as tiredness, stomach discomfort and stress have been found to be associated with noise exposure as well as noise annoyance [Source : WHO publication - Burden of disease from environmental noise - Quantification of healthy life years lost in Europe -2011.]/////..........If the exposure persists over a period of time, the cognitive and emotional state of stress could then cause a pathophysiological cascade, resulting in increased stress hormone levels, blood pressure, and heart rate,............Noise-induced annoyance has been proposed to play an intermediary role in disease development, i.e., the degree to which noise causes interference, annoyance, and mental stress may mediate the pathophysiological consequences and disease risk [10, 11].[Source: Environmental Noise-Induced Effects on Stress Hormones, Oxidative Stress, and Vascular Dysfunction: Key Factors in the Relationship between Cerebrocardiovascular and Psychological Disorders Omar Hahad ,1 Jürgen H. Yes, sir. Only very few people in the police department understand that " a stitch in time saves nine". You are very right about the harassment. The police dissuade ,discourage and harass people who complain and then when the situation gets out of hand they run around extinguishing the fires. But its too late then. Until then the IPS are busy shooting selfies.

Dear Sir,Thank you for the questions./// This is an extract from preamble to Univ. Decl. of Human Rights. Particularly pls. take note of the last sentence.QuoteWhereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,... Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind,... and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want..... Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law, Unquote//// I would recommend John Locke’s - 2 treatises of govt(particularly the 2nd part) and Frederic Bastiat - The Law. //// It is wishful thinking to say that present times are worse than earlier. The animal Homo Sapiens has got a bit civilised due to the concept of “rule of law” and “individual rights”. Otherwise everything else is much the same. Pull out any scripture of any dogmatic ideology and you will find out what human-kind really are./// It is likely that the act was committed in a fit of rage and excitement caused,as I have tried to explain earlier, by a rush of adrenaline triggered by the firecrackers and further bolstered by the argument etc. Loud noise triggers the “fight or flight” mechanism of the human body causing the Adrenal glands to release more hormones into the blood stream. They signal the heart to pump harder, increasing blood pressure, opening airways in the lungs, .... to increase blood flow to major muscle groups. There is a good deal of medical research to support this.////

I always ignore the disagrees. I never feel bad when they hit disagree on the views which dont agree. But, many a times, i see these are hitting disagree on the comments of condolences just because of some enmity they deposited in their heart. I just questioned this just because whats wrong in extending condolences on dead soul ? Enemity they have on me not on the person who died !!! I never even bothered when disagreed on other topics ...thats their right....but, on condolences....no...its not good to disagree...
