Bengaluru, Nov 13: Two young men, who had parked their car on the highway flyover near Tavarekere and were clicking selfies, died after a milk tanker hit them on the night of Thursday November 1. While the two died on the spot, the third suffered serious injuries.
The deceased were Dinesh (25) and Vinay (25) from Whitefield in the city. The injured man has been identified as Ankit Kumar. He suffered severe head injuries. Two more, Janardan and Jasmeet, escaped with minor injuries.
The above five persons were going to Kolar from the city late night on Thursday for some work in a car. They had parked their car by the side of the flyover near Nandaugdi flyover for taking selfies. At that time, a milk tanker which came at a fast pace from the direction of Bengaluru mowed them down.
