Karkala, Nov 16: The birth anniversary of late Jawaharlal Nehru, first prime minister of India was celebrated on Nov 14 in the cooperation of Kedinje Vidya Bodini aided higher primary school, Nehru Yuva Kendra Udupi, Nandalike – Abbanadka Durgaparameshwari Friends club and Kedinje school alumni association at the Kedinje school auditorium.

The Friends club president Prashanth Poojary presided over the programme. School people leader Preran garlanded the picture of late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and paid floral tributes.

Kedinje school headmaster Prathwiraj Ballal, teacher Rekha Pai, school alumni association president Beeretto Dinesh Poojary, school honorary teacher Mamatha J, Jayalaxmi, friends club convener Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary, former president Rajesh Kotian, secretary Suresh Poojary Kasrabailu, internal auditor Abbanadka Hariprasad Acharya, joint secretary Pushpa Kulal, treasurer Veena Poojary, women’s wing organizing secretary Sandhya Shetty, Bhajana Mandali president Sulochana Kotian, members Arati Kumari, Ashwini Prabhaker, Padmashree Poojary, Harish Poojary, Sharath Devadiga, Keerthan Kumar, Prashanth Bola and others were present.

    Yes, our dear Jawaharlal Nehruji deserves our Praise and Honour for taking up the task of shouldering innumerable and unknown Responsibilities when he accepted the Prime Ministership of our Motherland when we attained our Independence from the British Raj. We also know that " No Man is Perfect " !!!
