Karkala, Nov 17: Retired physics professor of Sri Bhuvanendra College, K Kamalaksha Pai (79), breathed his last at the residence of his daughter at Udupi, on Tuesday November 16. He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
Pai, who had served Manipal Institute of Technology for eight years as lecturer, had joined Bhuvenendra College in 1968. He retired in 1990.
Prof Pai, who was known to be a sincere and hard working teacher, also had functioned as the warden of the college hostel and estate manager. He was an active follower of Sri Sri Ravishankar Guruji, and was an ardent activist of Art of Living Foundation floated by the Guru.
