Mangalore: Lancy D'Cunha Appointed Secretary General of AICU

Mangalore, Nov 18: Lancy D’Cunha was appointed secretary general of All India Catholic Union (AICU) during its 56th annual general body meeting held recently.

AICU was founded in 1919 and has branches all over the country.

D’Cunha is the first person from south India to have been elevated to this post. He hails from Bondel parish.

He has also served as vice-president of Bondel parish and twice as president of Catholic Sabha, Mangalore, and has also been the honorary treasurer of AIC.
