RIP Sri Vinod Dua,whom we watched on TV from the early nineties. You were one of those who had mastered Hindi,English,Urdu and Punjabi. It was a pleasure watching you asking questions to politicians without raising your voice. You had deep knowledge of different types of Indian cuisine and your interaction with the chefs was awesome.I had the opportunity of flying you from Delhi to Mumbai and shaking hands with you only once.I can say 'A glory has departed ' today and the vacuum created will never be filled. We will miss you and only remember you watching your videos on you tube.Om Shanti.

Rules for journalism are stifled with canny directives of "Rules for you but not for me". The journalism has died less than a decade back. Rest all will make sense .

The demise of Vinod Dua is an irreparable loss to Indian journalism. India may never see a journalist like him ever after. I used to wait on tiptoes for his videos on YouTube - on The Wire as well as HW News Network. It is indeed the end of an era. May his sour rest in peace.
