Mangalore: Scooterist Dies in Accident

Mangalore, Nov 29: A scooterist named Ravindra (40) died after the two-wheeler he was driving, was hit by a Tata Sumo vehicle on Sunday November 28 night at Mukka near Suratkal on national highway 17. The pillion rider was injured.

Reportedly, Ravindra (40) from Katla near Suratkal, was going in his scooter with his friend, Navin (37), when the accident occurred. Navin was admitted into a hospital in the city with serious injuries. It is said that both of them used to execute contract works together.

A case was registered in Suratkal police station in this connection.
