Udupi: Tempo Trax – Lorry Collide, Trax Driver Critical

Udupi, Dec 2: In a head on collision between a Lorry and Tempo Trax in the wee hours of Thursday Dec 2 near Mulur, NH 17, Trax Driver Manhohar sustained severe injuries.

His condition is critical. Conductor Rajendra also has been injured. Both have been admitted to Manipal KMC Hospital.
 
Tempo Trax, news paper supply vehicle of Vijay Karnataka was going from Mangalore to Udupi and the Lorry was coming from Udupi to Mangalore. A case has been registered at Kaup Police Station.

    Moment I see accident reported at Udupi 100% sure this accident is between Kaup & Moolur. A very big problem or condition of tis road/ design ( British made design??) . Very Very dangerous road NO action from any authority to stop accident in this area....?since 35 yrs am seeing accident in this area fatal / major & frequent in this specifc spot
