Mangalore, Dec 4: The rains, which had made sudden appearance along with thunder and lightning for over half an hour on the night of Thursday, remained elusive in Karnataka coast on Friday December 3, but for light drizzle in Udupi and Karkala.

On Friday morning, light drizzle was experienced in Udupi and Karkala. In the evening, Mulky and surrounding places got rain drops for some time. Although overcast skies on Friday afternoon gave an indication that rains were to follow, by evening, the sky turned clear.
