Kasargod, Dec 6: A five-year-old boy from Goa, who had come to Manjeshwar to take part in a marriage function, drowned in a pond and lost his life on Sunday December 5.
Sayyed Suhaib (5), son of Rashid and Hajira, a native of Manjeshwar Kadepalla, had been living in Goa after his parents shifted there a few years back. He had come to Manjeshwar with parents for participating in a marriage function.
After the boy wanted to buy eatables, his father had given him some money. As the boy did not return even after considerable time, a search was launched. His body was recovered from a pond adjacent to the house where the marriage function was arranged.
