Mangalore, Dec 11: With the arrest of Madoor Yousuf alias Madoor Isubu, a close associate of underworld fugitive, Chota Shakil, several new information are expected to come to light, and many cases, which have either been treated as closed or did not come to light, will see the light of the day.

The cases that are expected to get a fresh lease of life are, murder of Mohan Ranya from Kinnigoly, and disappearance of Shakira Banu from Ullal Mukkachery near here, among others. It is claimed that Isubu has owned responsibility for the murder of Ranya.

He reportedly has given vital information to the policemen regarding the hands behind communal riots in the country, and the handiwork of a few communal organizations behind the murder of a few individuals including Hindu leaders.

“A Taliban court is functioning in the city. A Farman issued by this court is related to the disappearance of Shakira Banu. Shakira, who ran a brothel in  Ullal Mukkachery, and has been treated as missing since 2001, was killed,” he reportedly confessed to the policemen. Shakira, who did not heed to telephonic advices to discontinue her activity, was cleverly made to visit the city, where she was fed intoxicating substance, before being killed and dumping her body in Shiradi Ghat, the policemen now have gathered.

The other information, which reportedly have been gathered by the policemen, relate to the existence of seven centres of communal forces across the country, having 3,500 members, which decide about the execution of individuals. These units are run with the money collected in the name of donations for building houses for the poor and other purposes, it is said.  The policemen believe that Madoor Isubu had visited the city to execute the plan of murdering Polali Anantu. Once the purpose was fulfilled, he had flown back to Saudi Arabia. It is also learnt that after red corner notice was issued for Isubu’s arrest, the concerned had planned to eliminate him, as they feared that his arrest would spill the beans. However, some leaders intervened and settled the matter in favour of Isubu.

The policemen have found that out of those arrested relating to Polali Anantu murder case, only two were genuine culprits, while others are not. As such, they are likely to approach the court with a request for permission to reopen the hearing in the case. The policemen have also got information about the money paid for executing the murder plan of Sukhanand Shetty, Candle Santu and Polali Anantu. It is said that a hit list of 12 persons including nine Hindus and three Muslims, has been prepared by the said organizations for murder.
