Abu Dhabi: 73rd Republic Day celebrated at ISC, Guinness achiever feted

Abu Dhabi, Jan 30: A cultural program as a part of the 73rd Republic Day of India was held on Friday, January 28  at the ISC. A variety of performances were organized by the ISC entertainment section and all the registered Associations. 

The program started with ISC general secretary Jojo J Ambooken’s welcome Speech and presidential addressby Yogish Prabhu K, president, ISC. Chief guest of the event, Sunjay Sudhir, ambassador of India to UAE and guest of honor Dr Yusuff Ali M A, Chairman of ISC, and chairman and managing Director of Lulu Group International addressed the gathering.

 

Sandeep Kumar Bayyapu,deputy chief of mission, Embassy of India, K Muraleedharan, patron governor of ISC and chairman of SFC Group, presidents of registered associations, Embassy officials, former presidents of ISC and general Governors of ISC attended the event.

The winner of Guinness Book of World Records for the largest professional oil painting by a single artist is 166.03 m2 (1,787.13 ft2), Sarans K K received a memento of appreciation from ambassador Sunjay Sudhir and Dr Yusuff Ali M A. 

ISC staff Rathnakar A received a certificate of Appreciation as a Covid-19 Frontline Hero. 

George Varghese, vice president of ISC proposed a vote of thanks and Beena Arjun was the Master of Ceremony.
