Udupi, Dec 23: Ajith J D’Souza, dean, Master of Social Work, Milagres College, Kallianpur, was awarded a doctorate by Mangalore University (MU), recently.

He was awarded the PhD for his thesis on ‘Quality of Life of Elderly’ in rural Dakshina Kannada.

Ajith J D’Souza compiled the thesis under the guidance of Dr Anitha Ravishankar, associate professor, Mangalore University.
