Dandeli, Jan 1: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy will organize a ‘Konkani Natakotsav’ at Vidhyadiraja auditorium here from Friday January 15 to Sunday January 17. It is being organized as a memorial to the late Konkani litterateurs Cha Fra D’Costa, Vasadu Babuti Nayak, and Balachandra Pai Yane Kullappu, and to provide a platform for the Konkani drama troupes of Dandeli.
The Academy will reimburse the actual traveling expenses besides paying an honorarium to the troupes that stage their play at the Natakotsav. The Academy will set the stage and also provide boarding and lodging during the event.
