Mangaluru: Women's Day Celebrated at Holy Family Church, Omzoor

Mangaluru, Feb 27: On behalf of International Women's Day, a special celebration of Women's day was held on February 27 at Holy Family Church, Omzoor.

The programme began with the Eucharist celebration, celebrated by Fr Alwyn D'Cunha. Breakfast was served after the mass followed by the formal programme.

Parish priest Fr Alwyn D'Cunha, vice president and secretary of the Parish Council, Patrick Pinto and Philomena Monteiro, president of Bantwal deanery Anitha Noronha, convener of all the commissions Arthur D'Souza, Women's Commission President Jacintha D'Souza and Women's Association president Janet Cutinha were present on this occasion.

A cultural programme was held by Women's Association, ICYM and YCS members along with a few fun filled games. The celebration concluded with the ladies taking part in the baila dance organised specially for them.
