Mangalore, Jan 11: Senior priest Vedamurthy Shrinivas Bhat passed away here on Sunday January 9.
80-year-old Shrinivas Bhat, also known as Shinna Bhat mama, was the senior priest of the GSB society. Many pujas and Havanas were conducted under his guidance at various places in the city.
He was also the founder of Shrinivas Ayurvedic Centre at Car Street here.
He is survived by a son and two daughters. Various dignitaries took part in the funeral and paid their last tributes.
