Fire breaks out in Namma Metro under construction building, equipment, goods gutted

Bengaluru, Mar 13: Fire broke out accidentally at Bamboo Bazar of Shivajinagar in the city on Saturday, due to which equipment and goods meant for building construction of Metro project got gutted.

Huge amount of smoke billowed from the fire mishap. Panicked residents called fire service personnel and police.

The fire service personnel who rushed to the spot brought the fire under control. Officials said that the fire erupted due to the plywood, plastic and gum that were kept together in the under construction building.

Shivajinagar police have registered a case and are investigating further.
