Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (HB/EP)

Udupi, Mar 17: The Daijiworld Udupi studio held ‘Godali Sadagara’ photography competitions in view of the Christmas festival. Its prize distribution programme was held at Tanishq Jewellery showroom, Udupi on March 15.

The competitions were organized jointly by Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises and Uzwad Prakshik.

The competitions were divided into two groups of individuals and teams. Colin Olson Saldanha was the first prize winner of the individual division. Anil Alwyn Veigas, Mangaluru and Clipton Melric D’Souza won second and third prizes.

The winners were presented with trophies, certificates and cash prizes Rs 5,000, Rs 4,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively.

Among group divisions, ICYM St John the Baptist Church, Mangaluru won the first prize. Our Lady of Rosary Cathedral, Mangaluru and Holy Cross Church Erlapadav won second and third prizes.

The winners were presented certificates and cash prizes of Rs 7,000, Rs 6,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.

Tanishq Jewellery Udupi franchisee proprietor Maxim Saldanha, Gretta Saldanha and Manipal Christ School principal Eliza Vas were the guests of honour. They presented prizes to the winners and congratulated them.

Excellent response was received from the people for the competitions which were held for the fifth time. The competitions were held under the joint auspices of Tanishq Udupi, World of Titan, Udupi, Titan I Plus and Cotton King.

Daijiworld Udupi administration and programme co-sponsors Roopa Shalet Mascarenhas proposed a vote of thanks. Accountant Ria Louis welcomed and compered the prize distribution programme.

Consolation prizes in the individual category were presented to Wilson Joel Pais Bantwal, Onil Sunil D’ Souza Mangaluru and Sachin Saldanha.

Consolation prizes for teams were presented to Fathima Youth Committee, Our Lady of Fatima Church Miyapadav, Sacred Heart Ward and Miyar Church YCS Mogarnad.
