Mangaluru, Mar 18: A truck transporting a crane from Mudipu to Gadag toppled near Natekal on Friday March 18 afternoon.
The lorry toppled after the driver lost control on the curve due to overload. The cleaner and driver of the lorry sustained minor injuries.
Alert locals rushed them to a nearby hospital. The traffic police, who visited the spot, put soil on the diesel spilled out from the crane following the accident.
Under the guidance ASI traffic of Nagori station Yashwanth, efforts are in progress to lift the crane with the help of another crane.
