Karnataka Bank bags best MSME Bank of the year at ASSOCHAM’s Excellence Awards

Mangaluru, Mar 18: Karnataka Bank has bagged “Best MSME Bank of the year – Winner” award among private sector Banks at the 8th MSMEs Excellence Awards Ceremony and Summit held on March 9, 2022 instituted by ASSOCHAM at New Delhi.

The award was received by Gopalakrishna Samaga B, DGM, Credit Marketing Department on behalf of Karnataka Bank Ltd in the presence of Narayan T Rane, Minister, Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

Sharing his happiness on the achievement Mahabaleshwara M S, MD & CEO of the Bank said “Karnataka Bank has been focusing on MSME sector with various digital products. Bank has ensured expeditious disposal of MSME credit proposals by duly adhering to all quality standards and is actively participating in various Public/Private initiatives to promote the cause of MSME. It gives me immense pleasure to state that, as received hitherto this year also, Bank has got prestigious award from ASSOCHAM and other National level business chambers for the contribution and support extended to the entrepreneurs in this sector by the Bank. This award strengthens our resolve to continue to focus on MSME sector going forward”.
