Puttur: Boy falls to death from guava tree

Puttur, Mar 19: In a tragic incident which happened at Marakkada in Dolpady village near Kaniyoor in the taluk, a boy identified as Ullas D M (8), son of Diwakar Gowda from Marakkada, suffered critical injuries after falling from a guava tree. Ullas had climbed the guava tree for fun.

Ullas was a talented third standard student of Dolpady government higher primary school. During the fall from the tree, he sustained critical injuries in his head region. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kaniyoor where he was provided first aid. He was then admitted into a private hospital in Puttur but he did not respond to treatments.

A report about this unnatural death was filed in Kadaba police station.
