Mangaluru: Private bus personnel create ruckus on road, four arrested, two buses confiscated

Mangaluru, Mar 20: The Urwa police arrested four persons, all staff of private buses operating in the city, for allegedly creating a ruckus on the road, blocking traffic and causing panic to the public.

Gunaraja Shetty, Dhanraj, Sharath and Steevan Nelson Noronha are the arrested accused. It is alleged that the arrested people, staff of two buses parked the vehicles one against the other blocking the road at Ladyhill on Friday and were having an altercation regarding the timings of the buses.

Following the telephone calls by the public, police arrived on the spot, took the personnel into custody and confiscated both buses.
