All the best Agnesians in Mumbai. It is nice to see Vrinda Rai, my classmate at St. Agnes (Mother of Aishwarya Rai Bachhan - first pic third from left) after so many years.

I wish I was there to join the celebration.

It is indeed good to see that past students of St. Agnes are trying to keep up the good name and traditions of this great Institution. I have wonderful memories of St. Agnes as I was a student of the primary class some time in 1927. My sister Mary Gonsalves was one of the first graduates of St. Agnes having got her B.A. degree some time in 1934. By a co-incidence my sister Rev. Sister Hedwige was elected as the Principal of St. Agnes College when I was back in Mangalore in the seventies after having served as a senior Company utive in the major Cities in India with of course a stint also in London.

It is gratifying to see St. Agnes and the other convents run by the Apostolic Carmel doing so well all over India and other parts of the world. The selfless service of the sisters is amply testified by Rev. Sister Aloysia who served in Africa for nearly two decades under difficult circumstances and has succeeded in setting up five teaching institutions in difference parts of The Continent.

I join scores of people in saying kudos to The Alumni Associations of St. Agnes and more particularly the Association in Bombay.
