Mangaluru: Yenepoya Specialty Hospital, Kodialbail to organise blood donation camp

Mangaluru, Mar 22: Yenepoya Specialty Hospital, Kodialbail, Department of Community Medicine Yenepoya Medical College, jointly with Indian Red Cross Society,Mangaluru Branch and the local ward corporators is organising a blood donation camp at Primary Health Centre, Azizzudin Road (Ward No 44), Bunder on Saturday, March 26 from 09.30 AM to 01.30 PM.

The chief guests will be Premananda Shetty, mayor, C A Shantharam Shetty, sabhapati, Indian Red Cross, Zeenath Samshuddin, corporator, Ward No 44. 

The guests are Dr Manjayya Shetty, MCCHealth officer, Praveen Kumar, district coordinator, Red Cross, Dr Muhammed Thahir, director, Yenepoya Specialty Hospital and Dr Poonam R Naik, professor and HoD, Community Medicine, Yenepoya Medical College.

All healthy and eligible individuals are encouraged to participate in this humanitarian cause and donate blood. By donating one unit of blood, the donor will be saving three lives.

Note: The donors’ contribution will be gratefully acknowledged with certificate.
