Puttur, Jan 26: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy will organize ‘Konkani Sangeetotsav’, a two-day musical programme, at the Town Hall on Saturday February 26 and Sunday February 27 in order to encourage singers from a wide section of the Konkani community.
The Academy aims to gather information about singers by organizing the event which will include Konkani devotional songs, Konkani Sugama Sangeet, Konkani folk songs, and Christian Konkani songs. It invites entries from Konkani musicians who have gotten A, B, or C grades in their respective categories, musicians serving in All India Radio (Akashvani), and musicians serving in professional music groups are expected to send their entries detailing their personal information, profile, and the musical shows staged by them and send it to:
