Chikkaballapur: Unexpected arrival of train - Man sitting on tracks killed

Chikkaballapur, Mar 29: In an incident which happened at around 7.30 pm near the railway signal at Gandhinagar in the outskirts of Sidlaghatta town on Monday March 28, a person died after having been knocked down by a railway engine.

The deceased has been identified as Narayanaswamy (45) from Ramanagara.

Narayanaswamy, along with two of his friends, was seated on the railway tracks and the three were chatting when a train came on that track. The friends were totally oblivious of the fact that the train was approaching them fast. At the last minute they appeared to take notice and tried to escape. Narayanaswamy was trying to help Sadiq Pasha to escape from getting hit by the railway engine when the engine smashed his forehead. He died on the spot.

Sadiq Pasha, who suffered serious injuries in the incident, was admitted into the district hospital.

    Sad and terrific from the train to be knocked out and die.He himself is here cause of his end.As though no other place to sit and talk sitting on the active tracks.May his soul rest in peace.Hope the others dont get any problems and case.Wish the injured fast recovery.
