Good to see Sandesha Foundation is committed to recognise various achievers. Raymond DSouza is a great personality. As I know Paul Moras is a good organiser. But he has hardly written anything in Konkani. Most of his works are study materials. Though he deserves Award for his work, i dont think it is apt to give him award in the name of literature. He could have give some other catagory. There are better writers in Konkani these days.

Congratulations to Sandesh Foundation for honouring achievers every year. Paul Moras is a rare writer in Konkani, he has done lot of work for konkani. He deserves Konkani Ratna award and also Padma awards. he is a motivating writer for young writers. Critics should learn to study what he has written and should realise there is much stuff in konkani. I was in long back reading konkani papers and books with wonderful experience. These days there are very less writers who write good stories, novels etc. Paul Moras being president of konkani writers union can do something so that konkani's glorious days can be brought again

Congrats to all award winners. Its really great to recognise the achievers from different sections of art and culture from all communities. Congratulations to Paul Moras for winning Konkani Literature award. Konkani in Karnataka (kannada script) has not been recognised by union govt. organisations. Mangalorean konkani deserves Jnana Peetha or Padma Awards, but so far unfortunately its not given to anyone. Late Wilfy Rebimbus could have honoured by Padma Award. So called influential leaders/persons have not done anything in this regard. Also writers like Edwin JF DSouza, Late Victor Rodrigues, Dolphy Cascia, Paul Moras, Dr Edward Nazareth, Edi Netto deserve Kendra Sahitya Academy Awards. All should work towards this so that Konkani literature will be progressed. God bless all.

What Francis is said is true. I dont know why Paul Baab has not got much recognition. I too dont know why he is cornered by great guns of konkani who always boast themselves as if they are only serving konkani. Now Sandesha has recognized true gem which will open the eyes of the great guns.

Congratulations to Mr World Raymond DSouza. You deserve more awards and recognition. May be your simple profile has not attracted glamorous world/media. Also congratulations to best konkani writer Paul Morasab for getting this award. Paul Moras has done so much research which is the best konkani literature work by anybody. Those who simply criticize saying there is nothing in konkani should open their eyes and read what Paul Moras has written and after that they can say our konkani is really rich.
