There is no control on construction standards in Bangalore. For a simple wall to come down is a disgrace. In Australia, this is unacceptable. If you want further proof look at the bridge collapse at Hampi. Once again a lessening of standards. On my last visit to Bangalore I was shocked to see some of the structures. I hope that the Metro was built to better specifications.
    Regards
    John

Dugadas Suvarna Tnak you very much. One think I want to point out if you are sick what you will do? You will seek Doctor's help and take medication to get rid of your illness. What happens if some get cancer to a particular part of the body then they must for rediation and if now working they must reome that part. My comments is the same way this politicians who is back these contractors and officers and because of their stupid mistakes poor people are suffering. It is not I have to raise my voice alone but we all must raise our voices. I wish you understood now. For your good information in Mangalore presnt Corporation ruling and officers did the same thing and almost every citizens are suffering and many innocent people are passed away. Do we need such stupids to rule us......Think...Think....Think....For you information we are who always go one step ahead to protest and demanding justice....

O God, the Creator and Redeemer of the entire faithful, grant to the souls of Thy servants departed the remission of all their sins, that through our pious supplication they may obtain that pardon which they have always desired who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
It is total irresponsibility of the Engineer who made the plan, the contractor who accepted the work, and the Government officers who gave the permission.
Engineers must think of cost but the same time they should not play the game with poor people’s life. It is engineer’s duty to inspect the site every day and watch the quality of work and safety of all workers. IF they are culprit they should hanged to Death.
Contractor’s most of the time has to bribe and think of their profit. Profit is required but not in this way. If the contractor things that he is NOT able to have profit does not accept the work and kill innocent poor workers. If the contractor found guilty he must put in jail for life time.
Most Government Officers will never work with out bribe. These people always play with money, party, and females. They never bothered how the construction is going on and what is the quality of the work? Most time they never bothered to inspect or do the random check about work. They only look how much money they will get through bribe? If a good judge either from Supreme Court or Military officers conducting and if the Government officers found guilty they should be given death sentence immediately.
