Udupi: Indian Catholic Youth Movement Conducts Inter Varado Bible Skit Contest

Udupi, Feb 2: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Sastan organized the inter-Varado Bible skit competition on the occasion of the first death anniversary of Late Fr Vincent Martis at Mythri Hall, Sastan, recently.

Fr Pascal Menezes, director ICYM, Udupi district, presided over the function. Dr Manoj, ICYM former president, Udupi district, Fr Valerian Fernandes, parish priest St Antony Church Sastan, Jane Maria Serrao, animator ICYM Sastan and Josie Banz were present on the occasion as chief guests.

ICYM unit Holy Rosary Church Kundapur won the first place, while St Peter Church Pethri and St Pius X Church, Kundapur won the second and third prize respectively.

Many ICYM Units from twin Varado Kundapur and Kallianpur participated in the competition.

Prameeth D’Almeida president ICYM Sastan welcomed the gathering, secretary Diana Olivera propose the vote of thanks.

    Late Fr. Vincent Martis has done a lot for Sasthan parish. May God give peace to his soul. Fr. Valerian Fernandes is doing well and I felt all his dreams have come true. God bless Fr. Valerian Fernandes n parishioners of Sasthan.
