Udupi, Apr 16: “I have come here to give directions in Santhosh Patil suicide case. Seven investigation teams are formed and sent to various parts of the state. The investigation will be done honestly,” said additional director general of police (ADGP) Pratap Reddy in the city.
Reddy further said, “We will hold the investigation in phases and give information accordingly. A comprehensive investigation will be done. The FSL and forensic laboratory reports have to arrive. I cannot say anything on post mortem as of now.
“The FSL is an independent organization. They will give their report without any bias. I have asked them to give the reports as soon as possible.
“As ADGP I will direct the investigating teams. They will work as per my guidance. The case will be investigated from various angles. We will give information to the media as the investigation progresses,” he said.
