Kasargod, Apr 19: Adoor police arrested a man on the accusation of sexually harassing a six-year-old girl, five years ago.
Shankaran (33), resident of Adoor Kala is the accused. The incident came to light when the girl, who is studying in fifth standard now, underwent counselling at school. She confessed that she was sexually harassed when she was in first standard.
The schools authorities brought the matter to the notice of childline, who in turn collected the statement of the victim girl and reported the matter to Adoor police.
The police have arrested the accused under POCSO.
