Mangalore: Fake Passport – Passenger Held

Mangalore, Feb 9: A passenger, who was trying to fly to Dubai by an Air India flight by using a fake passport, was arrested by the immigration officials at Bajpe airport here on Monday February 7. He has been identified as M Ayub (30), a resident of Kedambady village.

During the routine checking, the immigration officials found that Ayub was using a passport standing in the name of Dawood Kemmayi, by affixing his photograph to it. It was found that he had flown to Dubai in the 2009 through Mumbai airport, by using the same passport. He had returned to Mumbai on September 20, 2010.

He was turned over to the Bajpe police station, where a case stands registered against him.
