Bantwal: Sandalwood Worth Rs 2 Lac Seized

Bantwal, Feb 10: The Vittal police here have seized stolen 101 kgs sandalwood of worth Rs 2,50,000 on Wednesday February 9.

As per the reliable information, PSI of Vittal and his staff conducted a raid at a house at Shanthinagara, Kamblabettu, Vittalmudnur village of Bantwal Taluk and seized the stolen sandalwood and arrested Abdul Lathif (29) of Shanthinagara, Kamblabettu.

 A case has been registered at Vittal police station and investigations are on.
