Udupi: Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Kolalgiri Celebrates Annual Feast

Udupi, Feb 10: The annual feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus church Kolalgiri was celebrated here, on Tuesday February 8, and Wednesday February 9. 














Fr Valerian D’Silva, Capuchin priest celebrated the festal Eucharistic mass on Tuesday night. Many priests from the deanery and neighboring parishes also joined in the Eucharistic celebrations along with Fr Marcel and Fr Sylvester.

The holy mass concluded with adoration to the holy sacrament. A large number of parishioners attended the mass. An attractive display of fireworks was also held after the mass on the parish grounds. 

Fr Sylvester D’Costa, parish priest Scared Heart Church Kolalgiri, presented the blessed candles to all the sponsors of festal Eucharistic celebrations on Wednesday.  

Fr Jerome Monterio, parish priest St Antony Church Kuntalnagar presided over the grand festal Eucharistic celebrations on Wednesday morning, along with Fr Marcel, Fr Sylvester D’costa and many priests from the deanery and neighboring parishes.  

Kolalgiri parish priest Sylvester D’Costa thanked, parish council vice-president, secretary, parish council for their generous contributions to the annual feast.

Many non-Catholics also contributed for the annual feast as sponsors and well wishers.
