Kundapur, Feb 11: A three-year-old child accidentally fell into a well and lost her life on Thursday February 10. The incident occurred at Bagwady village in the taluk.
Rekha (3), daughter of Lakshman Rathod, a native of Bijapur, lost her life in the tragedy. Allegedly, she was playing with another child, and unknowingly went near a well that was not properly protected.
Lakshman had come here along with his family a few days back, for working in stone quarry. The couple had set up a tent near the quarry. Gangolli station house officer, Gopal Naik, visited the spot and registered a case.
