Mangalore: Census Helpline Becomes Functional

Mangalore, Feb 11: The second phase of the census is being conducted in the blocks spread across the city corporation limits, from February 9 to 28, as per the time table announced by the directorate of census.

To enable the people to register their grievances about any deficiency found or problems encountered in the census work, a separate helpline has been set up at the central office of the city corporation here. People are requested to contact the number in case of need.

The census helpline number  is 0824 – 2220306, and toll-free number, 155313. The city corporation commissioner also said that the people have the option to also contact the concerned census charge officer relating to problems encountered by them during census work if any.
