Udupi: Renovated Kitchen of Srikrishna Mutt Inaugurated

Udupi, Feb 11: The kitchen of Srikrishna Mutt here, where Nivedyam items are prepared, has been renovated. The renovated kitchen was inaugurated on Thursday February 10.

Delivering benedictory address after inaugurating the renovated kitchen, Sri Vidyasagarateertha Swamiji of Krishnapur Mutt noted that the kitchen has been renovated for the first time, because of the initiative undertaken by the Paryaya Swamiji, Sri Lakshmivarateertha.

In his address, Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejavar Mutt said that it is very important to properly maintain the kitchen, where the food meant to be offered to the Lord is prepared. He said that the renovation of this kitchen is a service rendered to the Lord, and hence, it also invokes divine grace in abundance.

Paryaya  Sri Lakshmivarateertha Swamiji said that the renovation of the kitchen and the dining hall are the contributions of his Paryaya period.

Junior Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, Sri Vishwaprasannateertha, and Sode Sri Vishwavallabhateertha Swamiji also graced the occasion. Manohar Shetty of Sairadha Developers, who was in charge of the renovation works, and small screen artiste, Mahesh, were felicitated on the occasion. Diwan of Shirur Mutt, Latavya Acharya, proposed vote of thanks.
