Mangaluru: Saxophone artiste Machendranath remembered

Mangaluru, May 29: As part of the first death anniversary of the International Saxophone artiste Machendranath, a remembrance meet was observed at the premises of Mangaladevi Temple on Friday, May 27. On the occasion, his students paid tribute by playing Saxophone.

MLA D Vedvyas Kamath, mayor Premananda Shetty, corporator Kishor Kottary, Mangaladevi Temple administrator Ramanatha Hegde were the chief guests. Former mayor Harinath Jogi, KPCC general secretary Mithun Rai, Kadri Temple administrator H K Purushotham and others were present.

On this occasion, a free mass meal was arranged.
