Mangaluru: First day novena held at St Anthony Ashram, Jeppu

Mangaluru, May 31: The first day of Novena preceding the feast of St Anthony was held at at St Anthony Ashram, Jeppu.

The theme for the day was 'For all married couples and families to be based on Prayer, Faith and Joy'.

The novena Mass was held at Milagres Church. Fr Anil D'Souza, director of the Family Life Centre celebrated the Mass. Fr J B Crasta, Fr Rupesh Tauro, Fr Larry Pinto con-celebrated the mass.

Special prayers were offered for all those who suffer marital discord, trials in the families and who are separated from their families. Milagres parish choir sang and joined in thanksgiving.

Morning novena was celebrated at the Ashram by Fr Stany Monteiro. Lunch was served to all devotees.
