Karwar, Jun 4: “Hijab issue is a closed chapter now. It seems that Hijab is worn to create unrest,” said minister Kota Srinivas Poojary at a press conference in the city.

Poojary also questioned how right is it to act against the order of the court.

He further said, “The state government is implementing the order of superme court with regards to the use of loudspeakers in Mosques and temples. Yakshagana is a system. It is not conducted inside buildings. Yakshagana can be presented with limited loud speaker after obtaining permission from respective deputy commissioners.”
