Doha: Udupi Restaurant with authentic Indian food to open on Jun 8

Doha, Jun 7: Udupi Restaurant, an authentic Indian restaurant that offers special and tasty Mangalurean food along with South Indian and North Indian delicacies will be available for service from here Wednesday June 8.

The inauguration of the restaurant is scheduled for 4 pm at Mattar Qadeem Commercial Street, Doha Qatar on Wednesday. Haji G Maidu Kutty Gundmi Sasthan will be the chief guest for the inaugural event.





Udupi Restaurant is the dream project of Faisal G, Musthafa G and Mohammed Junaid, who are hailing from Udupi. The trio has been engaged in business in Qatar for the last 11 years and owns Gulf Plant Trading & Contracting, Trans Gulf Maintenance & Trading in Qatar.

The restaurant promotes traditional Mangalurean food variety like Buns, Goli Baje, Pulav, Neer Dosa, Menthe Dosa, other varieties of Dosa, Guli Appa, Pulimunchi, Ghee Roast, Urval, Koli Rotti, Kalthappa, varieties of Pundi, Thali, Biryani, Ghee Rice chicken Kabab, Gunji Chutney, Fish Tawa, Rawa and Masala fries, varieties of podi, vada, bajji, ambade, charmuri, kashi halwa etc, which are very rarely available in Qatar with purely coastal touch by a full-fledged Udupi and Mangalurean cooking team.

The restaurant have separate hall space which is ideal for arranging birthdays, get-togethers, corporate meetings etc., with a capacity of around 100 guests with a ample parking slots

The facility is located in Shop No.9, Building No.22, Street No.840, Zone No.45, Mattar Qadeem Commercial Street, one of the prime areas of Doha Qatar.
