Mangaluru: Bhramari Yakshavaibhava to be held on Aug 27

Mangaluru, Aug 17: Bhramari Yakshamitra Mangalore's fifth year Bhramari Yakshavaibhava 2022 will be held on August 27 at Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall from 7 pm. Senior Yakshagana artist Sri Peruvadi Narayan Bhatta will be honoured with the Bhramari Yakshamani award, and Sri Gopal Pujari and Sri Bokkasa Jagannath Rao will be honoured with the Bhramari Yakshaseva Purasakar.

Senior Yakshagana Prasangakartha Polali Nityananda Karanta will preside, Mangaluru North MLA Dr Y Bharat Shetty, Mangaluru City Corporation mayor Premananda Shetty, SCDCC Bank director T G Rajaram Bhat, Dharmika Parishad member Niddodi Chavadimane Jagannath Shetty, and Mangaluru Ganeshotsava President Shashikant Nagvekar will participate as chief guests.

Commemoration of the late Balipa Prasad Bhat, Yakshagana Poorvaranga, Chende Jugal Bandhi, Damayanti Punar Swayamvara, Mayathilottame, Veeravarma Kalaga Yakshagana will be performed in the presence of famous artistes. All these programmes will have free entry.
