Karnataka Regional Youth Convention Cross journey begins at Mangalore diocese

Beltangady , Aug 24: Karnataka Regional Youth Commission is organizing Yuvajanothsava – the Regional Youth Convention at Christ College Bengaluru from October 21 to 25. As a part of this convention, the journey of the Cross has begun in Mangalore diocese. On August 7, ICYM Mangalore Diocese Executive Council handed over KRYC Cross to Beltangady deanery during their deanery youth meet at Ujire parish.

Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza - ICYM director diocese of Mangalore, Anil John Sequeira – president ICYM diocese of Mangalore, Delitia Asumptha Pereira – lady vice president, Terrence Lavy Crasta- vice president ICYM Karnataka Region, Philomena Fernandes PRO, Sushanth Fernandes – nominated member, Fr Praveen D’Souza director ICYM Beltangady deanery, Prakash Dsouza president ICYM Beltangady deanery, Stepy Moras secretary ICYM Beltangady Deanery, ICYM Beltangady Deanery Council office bearers, were present during the hand over. KRYC cross will be taken to different parishes and will be kept for prayer.

During the journey of holy cross ICYM unit and deanery directors, animators, unit and deanery executive council members and youth were also present.

Regional Convention Cross will journey throughout the diocese visiting 124 parishes till October 20.

August 7- Belthangady Deanery

August 13 - Puttur Deanery

August 19 - St. John Paul II Deanery

August 25 - Bantwal Deanery

August 31 - Moodbidri Deanery

September 7 - Pezar Deanery

September 13 - Kinnigoli Deanery

September 18 - Surathkal Deanery

September 23 - City Deanery September

September 29- Episcopal City Deanery

October 5 - Mangalore South Deanery
