March 2023 SSLC annual examination in: Notification in September first week

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Aug 31: The Karnataka Higher Secondary Education Examination Board has made all preparations to publish the notification of SSLC annual examination that will be held in March/April of 2023.

Generally the notification of the annual SSLC examination is published in the month of October. However, this academic year it will be conducted in the model of 2019. The draft of rules for the same is already finalized. The notification will be published after one more round of final inspection.

Students have slowed down in the past two years due to corona lockdowns. The board is taking out the publication in order to give the students sufficient time to register and also make preparations for the examination.

In 2020 and 21, lessons were not taught in a proper manner due to lockdowns. Examinations were done on the MCQ (multiple choice questions) mode. However, this year as coronavirus is under control and offline classes are being conducted normally, the examinations will be in the mode of 2019 with long answer questions. No MCQ will be given.

Temporary time table for the examination is also being readied to hold the examinations from last week of March to second week of April. It is learnt that during the publication of notification, there are possibilities of publishing a temporary time table also.
