Mangalore: Way of the Cross Observed at Milagres Church

Mangalore, Apr 17: The Way of the Cross was observed with great reverance on Palm Sunday at Milagres church on April 17. A large number of devotees assembled at the church to participate in the procession.

 Fr Walter D’Mello, parish priest, Milagres Church was present. Alwyn Rosario led the procession from the church to the shrine. A short message was given by rector Joseph Martis, St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu on the occasion.
 
Good Friday, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ will be observed by Christians across the Mangalore diocese on April 22.
 
Churches across the diocese will organize special prayers and masses on the occasion.
