Chikkamagaluru, Sep 3: New office bearers of Chikkamagaluru district resort owners’ association met national chief secretary of BJP C T Ravi, DC Dr K N Ramesh and SP Uma Prashant.

The new office bearers who were elected unanimously are G H Moniz, Eagle Eye resort, president, Rangaraj, Coffee Groove Resort, secretary, Ramesh, Siri Nature Roost Resort, vice president, K S Raju, Trivik hotel and resorts, treasurer, Chethan, Silver Sky Resort, member, Hemanth Kumar, Bindiga Peak resort, member, Paramesh Global village resort, member, Pavan, Jade Vista resort, member and Manjunath, Blossom resort.

Speaking on the occasion, president Moniz said, “Chikkamagaluru is a tourist destination with Mullianagiri mountain range, roaring water falls, Bhadra tiger reserve, Sri Shankaracharya Math and international level resorts. Resorts have played an important part in developing the tourism industry of the district by attracting tourists, environmental lovers, providing employment and financial stability. In addition the association also shoulders many corporate social responsibilities. Developing tourism is the duty of every citizen.”
