Udupi, Sep 3: Government has taken out an order of forming new management committee of Kannarpady Sri Jayadurgaparameshwari temple, which falls under the control of endowment department.
The new committee consists of nine members as per the decision taken in the 16th meeting of third state religious parishad meeting which was held recently.
The new members of the committee are Sanjay, Bin Kitti of Kannarpady, Surekha K Shetty and Kushal Shetty of Kinnimulky, Vimala S Shet, Raghavendra Bhat of Kannarpady, Vijaya Bhat of Kadekar, Bhagawandas of Balaipade, Nityananda R Kannarpady and Kishore Kumar of Kadekar.
The members are nominated to the management committee as they are residents of Udupi and eligible. CEO of temple is nominated as the acting secretary of management committee.
