Bantwal, Sep 3: The award instituted in memory of journalist B G Mohan Das for best digital media report for the year 2022 will be awarded to Samshuddin Enmoor, journalist of Varthabharathi newspaper tomorrow, September 4. The award will be presented at Kannada Bhavan, Kaikunje, Bantwal in the leadership of Kadegoli, Tumbe, Bantwal based Sahitya Sampada and gulfkannadiga.com.

A poetic conference will be held in the leadership of Jayarama Padre at 9.30 am. The award programme will be held at 11 am. The programme will be presided over by Brijesh Anchan of Sahitya Sampada. Bantwal taluk Karnataka Sahitya Parishat president Vishwanath Bantwal, B G Lakshmikanth Beskoor, brother of late B G Mohan Das and joint secretary of district chamber of commerce and Industries, Sukesh Kumar Shetty, advocate from Mangaluru and Sudha Nagesh, teacher of Panemangalore Sharada high school will be present.

Poets Dr Maithri Bhat, Mahendranath Salethore, Tulasi Kairangal, Suhana Sayyed, Deepthi P Fatima Parveen, Shashikala Bhasker, Nalini B Rai Manchi, Vishwanath Kulal Mithur, Ashok N Kadeshwalya, Khateejathul Nazila, Sandhya Kumari S, Mahima R K, Nandita Vitla and Jayalaksmi G Kumpala will participate in the poetic conference.

Sahitya Sampada has requested all the fans of literature to participate in the conference and awards programme.
