Mangaluru, Sep 8: As part of Krishna Janmashtami the Tulunada Rakshana Vedhike had organised a 'Muddu Krishna' online photo competition and also Ganeshostava drawing competition for children.

Four children in the Muddu Krishna competition and three in drawing were declared the winners.

In the Muddu Krishna competition, Arvi M Acharya secured the first prize, Saayan P Suvarna secured second, Chaayank Dheeraj third and Astha Mangaluru bagged the fourth place. Participation certificates were given to 73 children.

As many as 33 children participated in the Ganeshotsava drawing competition. Ruthva H P secured the first place, Stuthi Karkala second and Poorvika Salian got the third place. Participation certificates have been given to 30 other competitors.

The programme was held in Siri Chavadi of Tulu Bhavan. Differently-abled, Vijeth Rao of Jeppu provided the drawing sheets to the students and inaugurated the programme.

Dr David Frank Fernandes flagged off the prize distribution and cultural programmes.

Founder of Tulunada Rakshana Vedike Yogish Shetty, Jeppu, sub-inspector Shrikala, Radhika C H, Jyothika Jain, Vivekananda Rao, Asha Shetty Atthavara,, Geetha Shetty Padil, art director Mahendra Kumar, Prasad Konchadi, Harish Shetty, Perry D'Souza, Harshitha, Ashish Anchan, Roshan D'Souza and others were present on the stage.

Prashanth Bhat Kadaba delivered the keynote address.

For the past 13 years, the Tulunada Rakshana Vedhike has been organising pro-people programmes including cultural, blood donation, offering meals to the destitute and various other programmes and helping the needy.
